COD Workshop July 30

The Council of Deliberation will hold a workshop about online Valley calendars and the Scottish Rite website and Valley web pages on Monday, July 30, at the Bektash Shrine Center in Concord.  The workshop is open to members who are, or want to, keep the Valley web page and calendar current, as well as all Valley Secretaries and Deputy’s Representatives.

The meeting will start at 7:00 PM.  There will be a light dinner at 6:30 PM prior to the start of the meeting.  Contact your Valley Secretary or COD Secretary for information, and to RSVP.

Valley of Nashua Holds Officer Elections May 29

The Valley of Nashua’s next Stated Communication will be held at 7:30 o’clock P.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Masonic Temple, 200A Main St, Nashua, NH.

As the Joint Stated Convocation of Aaron P. Hughes Lodge of Perfection, 14º; Oriental Council, Princes of Jerusalem, 16º; St. George Chapter of Rose Croix, 18º; and the Stated Rendezvous of New Hampshire Consistory, 32º; business will include the elections of officers for the Lodge of Perfection, Council, and Chapter.

32° Conferred Upon 42 at Spring Reunion

There were 42 new 32° Scottish Rite Masons at the 148th Spring Reunion of New Hampshire Consistory.  The Candidate Class was made up of Scottish Rite Masons from all five Valleys in the state.  The Reunion, held Saturday, April 21 at Nashua High School North, was attended by over 200 members and guests.

Candidates and their ladies were brought on stage after the closing ceremonies, and each new 32° Mason received a New Hampshire Consistory 32° pocket jewel and lapel pin.  Each will receive a 32° diploma from Supreme Council, along with a pocket jewel commemorating 200 years of Scottish Rite Freemasonry in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the United States of America.

NH Consistory Reunion Sat, April 21 at Nashua H.S. North

New Hampshire Consistory’s 148th Spring Reunion will be held on Saturday afternoon, April 21 at Nashua High School North.

Degrees will include the newly approved 19°, Brothers of the Trail, and a combined presentation of the 31°, Knight Aspirant and 32°, Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret.  50 candidates are expected to be in attendance for the Reunion.

A ladies’ program is also planned for the afternoon.  Ladies will depart at 12:30 pm for lunch and a guided tour of the Currier Museum of Art.

Schedule:

  • 12:00 pm – Registration opens
  • 12:15 pm – Bag lunches available in cafeteria
  •  1:00 pm – Entertainment, Billy Kottage Band
  •  2:00 pm – NH Consistory opens
  •  2:10 pm - 19°, Brothers of the Trail
  •  3:00 pm – Reception of Deputy & Suite
  •  3:45 pm – Combined presentation of 31° and 32°
  •  5:00 pm – Presentation of 32° jewels
  •  5:45 pm – Buffet banquet, catered by Hart’s Turkey Farm
